Aconite

Use: For shock, fear, anxiety following an acute event (e.g., accidents, sudden illness, or emotional trauma). It’s also effective for the onset of cold or flu symptoms, particularly when they appear suddenly and are accompanied by restlessness, fever, and a dry, hot feeling. The person may feel intense anxiety or fear along with physical symptoms.

Allium Cepa

Use: For allergic reactions, colds, and hay fever with watery eyes, sneezing, and a clear nasal discharge. It’s indicated for hay fever or cold symptoms that cause intense irritation in the eyes and nose, with a profuse watery discharge.

Apis

Use: For swelling, redness, and stinging pain due to insect stings, bee bites, or allergic reactions. It’s useful for swelling and burning pains, especially when the pain feels relieved by cold applications, such as for allergic reactions or insect stings.

Arnica

Use: For bruises, sprains, muscle soreness, and trauma. It helps reduce pain and swelling after injuries or surgery, promoting faster healing. It can also be used for muscle soreness from overexertion or trauma.

Arsenicum Album

Use: For gastrointestinal distress, including food poisoning, diarrhea, and vomiting, often with a sense of restlessness or fear of the symptoms. It’s useful for anxiety associated with digestive issues or infections and can also help during the onset of flu symptoms when there's weakness, chills, and exhaustion.

Belladonna

Use: For sudden, intense fevers, throbbing headaches, or acute inflammation, particularly when the person is flushed, hot, and feels worse from light or noise. It’s also indicated for onset of high fever, especially with hot, dry skin, and for symptoms that come on suddenly, such as cold or flu with extreme sensitivity.

Bryonia

Use: For joint pain, stiffness, and headaches, particularly when symptoms worsen with movement. It’s also indicated for dry coughs or cold symptoms where the person feels better with rest and worse with any movement.

Cantharis

Use: For burns, blisters, and painful urinary tract infections (UTIs) with a burning sensation. It is also helpful for bladder infections and any painful conditions with intense inflammation.

Chamomilla

Use: For irritability, restlessness, and pain, especially in children. It’s effective for teething pain and colic, as well as conditions that cause emotional discomfort along with physical pain or distress.

Cocculus

Use: For motion sickness, dizziness, and nausea, especially during travel. It’s also beneficial for fatigue from loss of sleep or from overexertion and can be used for headaches caused by poor sleep.

Colocynthis

Use: For cramping pain in the abdomen, especially with digestive issues like colic or bloating. It’s also effective for sharp, spasmodic abdominal pain that improves with pressure or bending over.

Ferrum Phos

Use: For early stages of infection or inflammation, especially when there’s fatigue, low-grade fever, or weakness. It’s ideal for the onset of colds and infections when the person feels generally weak, but there is no distinct symptom pattern yet.

Gelsemium

Use: For flu-like symptoms with extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, and a sense of heaviness. It’s also indicated for nervousness or anxiety, particularly before events like public speaking or exams. Gelsemium is especially helpful for flu onset, when the person feels weak, with body aches and chills.

Hepar Sulph

Use: For infections with pus formation, abscesses, and sharp, splinter-like pains. It’s indicated for boils, abscessed teeth, or conditions where the infection is painful and can be accompanied by swelling or pus-filled lumps.

Hypericum

Use: For nerve injuries, such as shooting or burning pains from traumatic nerve damage (e.g., pinched nerves, cuts, or injuries to the fingers or toes). It’s effective for nerve pain and trauma, especially with sharp, shooting pains that are intense.

Ignatia

Use: For emotional distress, grief, and trauma, particularly when symptoms come on suddenly and fluctuate. It’s helpful for mood swings or emotional upset following a loss, trauma, or change in life circumstances.

Ipecac

Use: For nausea and vomiting, particularly with gastrointestinal disturbances. It’s also helpful when the person feels a constant urge to vomit or experiences severe stomach discomfort.

Ledum

Use: For puncture wounds, insect bites, and injuries that cause swelling, especially if the pain is relieved by cold applications. It is effective for wounds that feel cold to the touch and promote healing in deep wounds.

Merc Sol

Nux Vomica

Use: For digestive issues from overindulgence, such as nausea, indigestion, or headaches. It’s ideal for hangovers, overeating, or conditions caused by excess consumption of food, alcohol, or stimulants.

Pulsatilla

Use: For emotional disturbances, weepiness, and conditions that change frequently in nature. It’s effective for colds or flu symptoms that shift from one part of the body to another, such as a runny nose that alternates between blocked and watery.

Rhus Tox

Use: For stiffness, joint pain, and skin irritation due to overexertion or injury. It’s particularly useful for conditions like eczema or rashes that become worse with cold and better with warmth.

Sepia
